Saddam Hussein has been condemned to death for his alleged reprisal on people who tried to kill him.
International observers, and lawyers as well as Human Rights groups all agreed he did not have a fair trial.
Saddam Hussein was due to be tried over the killing of Kurds, using chemical weapons with the help of the United States of America. Do people like Rumsfeld, George Bush senior etc... fear the disturbing evidence that would have come to light during this trial?

Saddam was allways going to be found guilty and put to death, ever since they caught him they made a decision to find him guilty and subsequenty execute him, they may as well of shot him the minute they found him.

America and the U.k dont understand that the only way to run some muslim countries is by a dictatorship, sure saddam kept a lot of the oil money and could be pretty brutal at times, but now you've got three waring factions in Iraq, the Sunni Muslims the Shi'ite Muslims, and the Arabs/Kurds who all want the country for themselves, so its a three way civil war with no sign of ending. As cruel as it may sound the coalition might as well pull out of Iraq and let them sort it out for themselves(america can keep the oil fields, thats all they really wanted). I mean at the minute the coalition forces are just getting in the way, and being shot at.

If you ask me saddam was the lesser of two evils, the only reason Bush wanted him out was because saddam threatened to start selling his oil in EURO's instead of the DOLLAR, and America cant print euro's!!

From what I just heard on the news, the United States had nothing to do with the death sentence, as far as disturbing news, his trial was full of it, he was responsible for killing over 3 million people, I find that pretty disturbing. The people of Iraq decided to hang him.In about a half hour from now it will be academic!

No even though more disturbing facts maybe revealed in future trials of Saddam Hussein (he can be tried in absentia), it is due to Iraqi law that after the appeals are rejected, an execution must happen with a very short period of time. I think this is 60 days max.

Those of you that want others to beliebve the USA is wanting him dead and that the USA would not let him have a fair trial should learn a few facts about what is real.

Nery few trieas of any kind can be deamed totaly fair. Some are closer to the total truth than others but there is doubt in all of them.

It was his own people that ran his trial and his own peopkle that eill hang him.

Bery few things that happen on this planet are totaly fair to all.

Yes.

The reason he was tried in Iraq and not The Hague, and the reason it was for just 100+ deaths, instead of the thousands is the reason he's got to be killed now.

The majority of the people he killed was done under US support, using US weapons with us satellite maps to target his people. America supplied the chemical WMD & got Saddam into power, so he could murder innocent people.

He's got to be killed, before the truth comes out in any other trial.

various sources suggested Saddam's execution might want to be videotaped by the Iraqi authorities, inspite of the indisputable fact that it wasn't sparkling even if it would want to be released to the accepted public or broadcast. "we are able to video each little thing," Iraqi nationwide protection adviser Mouffak al Rubaie instructed CBS information. Judging by the Iraqi authorities's launch Tuesday of videotape of the putting of 13 convicts, it would want to be a ugly affair. conferences were held Thursday in a minimum of two community headquarters over a thanks to handle the probably photo images. ABC and CBS suggested they does not air the full execution if the video grew to change into accessible.

All I can say is put it on Pay Per View! We could recoup the costs of the war in one fell swoop and have some left over for Iraq to rebuild their country!

Nope. It's mostly because Arabs are quick to kill, no matter the reason. One reason to hang or behead someone is as good as ten, and why waste time? Don't blame anyone but the Iraqi courts for this. If it hadn't been for them, he'd be dead already.
