It depends on your computer, but on mine you go to tools above the web adress, and then internet option, and then clear history. But the websites that you go to are always on your hard drive and can be accessed (the only way to get rid of them is to wipe you hard drive clean, and then that gets rid of EVERYTHING)
But you shouldn't be going to websites you're embarassed to be seen at- or if you must, instead use a public computer like in a library.

go to tools then internet options then delete cookies then go to content on the tabs and click autocomplete then click clear forms then ok and that will delete everything like the adress bar and everything

You have to delete your history I have internet explorer click view then go to explorer and click history and u just push delete

I go to start>control panel classic view>Internet options>clear history.

Open the "history " option.
Just erase history.
If you erase everything listed there,
you will wind up losing a lot of your
links and pass word set-ups.
