Yes, I have. I took rolls of coin in one time to a grocery store and they stated "we don't take rolled coin", so I broke open the rolls and made them count it.

No i never have, but I was in the grocery line once and this little old lady in front of me paid for about $68 worth of groceries, not rolled. It was a pain waiting.

No, but when I was a kid I would buy one and two dollar stuff with pennies. What parent let's their kid do that to the poor old Seven Eleven guy - that's jacked up!

Yep. I remember one horrible period in 1985 when I was subsidizing my existence from the tin box in which I still keep pennies. I spent several pounds of them. I still save them in the same box .

I would if I went to a store that had self-serve checkout. The cashier may not like the count them. Or if the store had a CoinStar, sure.
