Some guy who came into my work started yelling at my co-worker and myself because we wouldn't serve him another portion of food for free. He already had received and eaten what was included in his meal and asked for "seconds" We politely explained we didn't do that, but we could order him another meal or a side. He then started screaming that we were racist and demanded to see the manager. The manager is Mexican, and the guy was too (I just thought he was tan) so they went at it in Spanish for awhile and the guy got kicked out.
And a black family came in for the buffet and ate a bunch of food and then didn't want to pay for most of it. They seemed to think that "kids under 5 always eat free" we have no such policy. And then they tried to say the kids didn't like the food, so they didn't have to pay for it. So the manager came to kick them out and the dad of the family was like "This is racist!"
We also have many people of Hispanic background who come in and order, then pretend to not know how to pay. They only pull this on workers who don't speak Spanish. A lot of us do but not everyone. We don't charge them extra or mess with them just because they speak a different language, so the fact that they do it to us makes me mad.
So I've had some experiences that make me think its a really dumb thing. Its almost like they are being racist.

it is first of all very silly to be called a racist if you are invovled in a verbal dissagreement with someone of another race just because of the terminology, but you have to find out why that happened, because you have to look at the situation from both sides. some people of a minority group find it important to come off ontop in a situation like that because of a inferiority complex, due to history of their culture, but it does not mean that their race is inferior to any other race, its just what they make of it. i find that highly ridiculus.

im sure not every black or latino person youve EVER layed eyes on called EVERYONE that they disagreed with racist. please dont make those kinds of generalizations. secondly, those few that do throw around that word so carelessly are just that, careless. if they really knew what racism was then they wouldnt say it so much. most people actually wont accuse someone of that unless they truly are being racist.

Yes in general it would be ridiculous....but I don't know what the disagreement was about....it could be a racist statement that was made
