I have a trailer that isn't rigged for a 220v line just a gas line for a dryer. Is there any way to convert the power so i can use the dryer and not have an electrician install a 220 line?

No the dryer needs 220V to operate properly. The heating element will not get hot enough and it would cost you more than twice as much electricity to dry a load of clothes in about three times the normal time. It would not be a very big job to run a 220V line in a mobile home.

No, the four prongs are for ground, neutral, hot and hot. The two hot prongs are 110V 180 degrees out of phase, resulting in a 220V difference. I have seen expensive devices which will step up two 110V circuits to 220V with single phase, but these would not meet the needs of a dryer which requires the dual phase input. I suppose that with four separate input circuits something could be constructed that would give you what you need but the cost would be crazy both for the device and the wasted energy generating the correct power output. Plus you probably don't have four separate circuits going to the same room. Many kitchens don't even have this even with their power requirements.
You should just hire an electrician to do it right.

Only answering to confirm the previous two. You need 220Volts to run the element in the dryer. If you have a breaker box in this trailer then there is 220 available. It's not a huge job for an electician or a good handyman to run a line.

you could split the dryer out to 2 separate 120 outlets.. so yes in a way you could.. its something i would never do.. your asking for trouble.. a heating element on a dryer runs 120 motor does another 120.. i know.. I'm just being an *** but it is possible.. dont do it tho.. get someone to run the wire for a 220

Actually the service on any residential would be single phase with two hots. Maybe a little too technical. In your case you might be better off with a gas heated dryer.

It might be cheaper to buy a good used gas drier than to hire an electrician.
