I'm sure there's a way if you're handy with the internal workings of computer. As for a quick easy way like, there being a magical wire to allow it, then no. That would probably break so many copyright, trademark, piracy, etc... laws.

Yes. Download free Tivo Desktop software to your laptop. You can then transfer wirelessly (if you have a wireless adapter connected to your tivo), or possibly by connecting a USB cable from your tivo to your laptop.

When you transfer files to Tivo Desktop they will be encrypted to prevent you from saving to DVD. Sonic offers a MyDVD version of its software that allows burning to DVD, but costs around $60. I use WinAVI, or any video conversion software that is compatable a .tivo file, to convert it to mpg.

You can then burn the files to DVD, or shrink them to fit on your Ipod, Sony PSP, or Pocket PC.

It is pretty easy to do, start by looking into "TivoToGo" on tivo website.
