My 13 year old brother wants a Bass Guitar, but he says it has to be a certain size. Hes got tiny hands, and hes about 4'11. Do I just need to find a guitar with a smaller neck or is it size according?

There are "Jr" guitar sizes, but when it comes to standard basses, they differ from style and manufacturer. Also avoid anything above 4 strings due to hand and body size and strength.

Why don't you just take him out to the music store and have one of the employees size him with the correct bass.

get him a junior model bass. it will work until he grows
