Well they sound uncomfortable for you, so don't wear them.

Or, you could try taking out the underwire part of it.

Go to Nordstroms or JCPenney (not victoria secret or fredericks, their sizes are totally different from other stores.) and get sized as well.

The choice for underwire bras should be comfort. If they dig in, don't use them. I don't for the same reason. If I find a great bra I like with underwires, I just make small slits on the edge of the bra and pull them out. Some of us just have too much on the sides to be able to wear underwire bras.

I think that you might need to be fitted for a better bra. they CERTAINTLY shouldn't be digging into the tissue, and they shouldn't be painful at all. A c cup is an average size, and I would reccomend the underwire for support. Hey, I wear them, and I'm only a nearly-B! I need the support.

If they are hurting I would definitely say no. My girlfriend is a D cup, and her boobs sag a little so she needs to wear under-wire. She said to me that if they are a pert C cup, then you should be fine without under-wire.
The other problem is your bust size. It may be bigger than the bras you are getting which will definitely cause the under-wire to cut in. It may be a little expensive, but go to Bras and Things and ask them for a new bra, and tell them you need fitting. You'll need to buy a bra, but you can then ask them for your exact measurements. And it will be a small price to pay for comfort down the track.

They now make "wire free" push up bras and I believe they are at Victoria's Secret. Check out their website.

u need to be properly fitted for a bra, and since your breasts are that big, you SHOULD be wearing and underwire bra, it gives much more support.
