pokemon emerald: how to get mew?

how do you get the pokemon "mew" in pokemon emerald?

also any advice on how to get the 3 legendary pokemons?

For Mew in emerald, he can only be obtained two ways:
1) Going to a nintendo event (one was held on September 30th)
2) Using gameshark (but it can ruin your game)

However, in the japanese version, Mew could be obtained in the wild on birth island. It was taken out of the american version.

For Regice, Regirock and registeel; make use you have plenty of timer balls, ultra balls and a Pokemon who knows false swipe or status affecting moves.

You can only get Mew if you went to the event at Toys R Us or if you have a gameshark. Use Pokémon that are strong over the 3 legendary Pokémon's types.
