wait a few months- the first version of most new systems usually has kinks or bugs that will be fixed in the first few months...happened with the playstation2 they had to switch where they had the vents...if you didnt get the warranty you were stuck with a machine that would fry itself.my guy works at best buy and tells me all the dirt on the systems

wait AT Least a couple months.... right now all the glitches and problems are being found and reported. Roughly 6-8 months after the initial batch came out is a good time to start looking into one. Your ideal wait should be roughly a year or more.

The best thing to do right now is to wait. The PS3 still has bugs that need to be fix and besides there are not a whole lot of games for you to play.

Prices on EBay have dropped, but they are still above retail. I would wait a few months until Sony perfects the system (there were a few problems with some of the units).

you should wait. you can't get it now anyways i dont think. ps3's r being sold the LEAST out of all the new gen systems, so they might actually go down a few hundred dollars in the months to come.

i would wait a few months because
1.) more in stock and dont hav to fight for 1
2.) get all bugs out ( as in glitchs freezing up and others)
3.) $$$$$$ drops

Afetr a few weeks of looking at the stores you should try to look on ebay! Maybe prices will go down!

you should wait because the price will come down and if the ps3 has any problems sony will work them out by then.

Wait until February to get the 500$ console. It won't overheat as much as the junk i have.

But I wouldn't get one. Saw it in the store, and it's SUPER LOUD. Like air conditioner loud...
