Yes and No , it depends on the network setup you have , for instance you can have 1 pc as a gateway and all the other connecting to it , so if this is the case then computer 1 needs to have the firewall and security , the other dont cause they will connect to the 1 pc . Now if ALL the pcs are connected individualy then yes , all of the on their own need to have security in place .Let me know wish scenario you have

Only if 1 computer was acting as a gateway/proxy and filtered viruss and worms before they reached other parts of the network. If all 3 are connected to the net, then the above is not the case and you need to protect each system

Yup, it should also will protech all of your cumputers coz you use network connection so I assume you use LAN (Local Area Network) to connect all three right? So, in case of you use a network connection, the main computers will also monitor to the other 2 computers.
But, I think it will be best if you can install all the pc with their own antivirus.

you mean you are behing a router? running NAT, I presume?
thats good right there. if your security on your one pc lets you scan shared or mapped drives for virus or spyware protection then you are probably doing ok...it wont necessarily auto protect all pc's but you may be able to 'right click' on the share or mapped drive and scan it.
