attacking Israel with Hezbollah or their own nuclear weapons if Israel were an official US state. Plus with such a poor showing against the Hezbollah terrrorists I think Israel could use all the help they can get with their army. Plus their lobbyists already rule Washington so the transition would be almost seemless.

Do you think if the US guaranteed that Israel would never be attacked by anyone ever again but Israel would have to become a US state that Israeli citizens would vote yes or no? If would certainly save the US from having to conquer the entire Mideast.

A cute idea.
Israel is the only Jewish state in the whole world. The Arabs have 22 states. The Arabs are not wiling to accept a Jewish state in their midst.
Israel thought that by leaving Gaza entirely in August 2005, that the Arabs would get their act together and develop their economy. Instead, the Arab have seen fit to launch thousands of missiles at Israel's civilian population, intending to kill as many citizens as possible.
Israel, on the other hand, is trying to live in peace. When they do attack, it is with the clear objective of silencing the Arab terrorists. By international law, Israel is totally justified in its quest to protect its citizens. The Arabs are in total violation of international law by unprovoked attacking of innocent civilians in Israel.
The Palestinian Arabs could have had a state already, if they only behaved like civilized human beings. But they have proven time and again that they are not ready to behave, and so the Arabs will have to exist with "only" 22 states.

First, Israel would never agree to that
Second, it would make it that much easier for Hezbollah to attack American soil, due to Israel's proximity to Lebanon, they are right next to each other. They wouldn't think twice about using a Nuke.

Only Israel doesn't want to be a US State. You generally have to have a vote of the citizenry to ratify statehood, and since it would never happen, the point is irrelevant.

That poor showing was because they've become infected by political correctness and have a politically correct leader that they need to gid rid of.
They need to get back their old leaders and generals, not become a 51st state. Of course, that wouldn't please you very greatly - nothing would, really, unless they driven from their tiny speck of land into the sea.
