Anything that feels wrong

2006-12-29 13:10:45 · answer #1 · answered by ♥Constance♥ 3 · 0 1

fear spelled with three letters.
I would also say that it is a word one should apply to oneself in relation to ones own actions as governed by ones own beliefs.
On the other hand I would also say that . . .hurting a child is a sin. . .hurting an old helpless person is a sin. . .committing acts of hate are a sin, like perpetuating racism.
I could go on but I won't except to say that I guess a sin is an act that has a poisonous effect on the world.

Sin is a "violation" of Trans-Universal and Divine Principles. To "violate" (sin) against these Laws is to put your physiological life and your pneumatic (spiritual) life in jeopardy and possible extermination and death. Hence, the Divine Laws (the "thou shall nots”) instructed by the Divine Nature to the Human Nature through the great prophets in-tuned with the Divine Nature, i.e. Moses (the Great Law Giver) are actually meant to protect the human condition.

It's like the Laws of Electricity, if we obey and respect these laws, then we benefit from electricity (like flipping on a light switch to have light to read a book in what was the former darkness), but if we violate the Laws of Electricity then we can put ourselves in danger and possible death (like if one stabs a metal knife with their bare hand into an electric socket).

The defentition of sin is something regarded as being shameful, deplorable, or utterly wrong.
The other kind is sinned, meaning.... to violate a religious or moral law, or to commit an offense or violation.

I believe there are actions and there are consequences. Some actions are helpful (lead to good consequences) and some are not (lead to suffering on the part of others).

Sin is the transgression of the law.
(1Jo 3:4) Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
(1Cr 7:19) Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God.
(1Jo 2:3) And hereby we do know that we know him ( Jesus ), if we keep his commandments.
(1Jo 5:2) By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
(1Jo 5:3) For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
Commandments are the Ten Commandments and the 2 the Jesus sum all the law up by.
(Mat 5:44) But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
(Luk 6:27) But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,

(Col 3:19) Husbands, love [your] wives, and be not bitter against them.
(Eph 5:25) Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
(Mat 5:43) Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
(Mat 19:19 ) Honour thy father and [thy] mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
(Mat 22:39) And the second [is] like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
(Mar 12:31) And the second [is] like, [namely] this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
There is NONE GREATER then these. It is a heard thing to do when faced with adversity yet it is a command and we being human tends to get in the way but Jesus was God made human and he did it so it is not impossible.
