Why do men get so miserable around the holidays?

I don't really know. I know I don't like it because of all the damnable planning that has to be done and adhered to; I like to just stay in my day-to-day routine and keep rocking. The holidays introduce a lot of hectic, unnecessary nonsense that I would rather do without.

i read an article recently and just found it on the web, here's a snippet -
