It was on sky 3, and they proved that the sinking of the Titanic was an insurance swindle, and the ship that went to the bottom was the olympic which was the sister ship of the titanic.It showed how the olympic was altered to look exactly like the titanic, even to altering the portholes. A lot of workers on the Titanic refused to sail with the ship because they could see that everything on board didn't have that newness. The stokers could see that the boilers and engine were old as well. The other rescue ship, the California left port two days before the titanic sailed and waited at a rendevous point ready to pick up survivors.

yes i saw it about a month ago then two three nights ago and i can't remember what channel it was but there was another program showing it is an open ended myth. There are theories that support it and dispprove it. The main factors nthat they didn't go into in that program you are talking about are the interiors of both ships which were very different. E.G the bridge on one is curved the other is stright. Danny Wallace presnted the one that dispelled it. Happy New Year!

its just a myth, always has been always will be! maybe you should seconds from disaster on national geographic on the titanic, that should put your mind at rest!
