There is no rule as to how long to wait to remarry after a divorce. Every situation is different. Was there a cheating spouse... My ex-husband re-married 1 week after our divorce was final....and had a baby with his new bride a few days later! It depends on YOU and your new spouse. You need to do what feels right!

I dont think there is any civic rule about it. Next day if you choose? However, a person should give themselves a reasonable amount of time to get to know a person before they remarry. Learn from the past.

Depends on your state. In Alabama, it says right on the final decree that you have to wait 60 days.

My ex husband divorced his 1st wife and married me the same day. He and his 3rd wife married a month after I divorced him.
You may want to take time for you and not be so codependant.

Most states do not have a waiting period. Once the decree is signed by the judge you are free to do whatever you want.

I don't believe there is any rule. Think my pop married the very next day. They must have been happy they spent the rest of their lives together.
