just wait a day or two(during those few days, don't feed your betta)....don't drop anything in the water...

eventually the betta will start to get hungry and then drop in a bloodworm or betta food.... the betta will be hungry so the first thingit sees it wll eat it.....

if you try bloodworms, try dropping it in front of its face....
GOOD LUCK!

Bettas can be picky. They hate flakes but all of mine have loved pellets. Try the betta pellets. But make sure the pellets aren't to big to eat making it difficult for them to eat w/o spitting up first.

They don't like to eat every day, so always remove uneaten food and don't feed him for a few days. Try feeding him 2 or 3 times a week.

That's a bit weird? Did you just get him, it could be stress. I also heard they love peas.
