No, I would not try that. It would make the hamster very sick, and most likely make it die. A tiny piece probably wouldn't hurt, but I still wouldn't give it any fry at all, no matter what the size. Instead, try cereal (best if not too sugary). Hamsters also love cheese, and hardboiled eggs. Fresh vegetables are good too, but it's recommended to remove any fresh foods that have been in the cage for longer than six hours.
Also, remember not to overdose on the treats... Compare how much you'd eat with your size, to how much the hamster could eat with his size. Your hamster is really small, so he shouldn't be eating as much as you!

It does look funny, but you shoud NOT feed it french fries because fries contain salt, and salt is bad for hamsters.

It won't be so cute when you make him sick and die. There are plenty of hamster treats that fit in his cage that won't make him sick. McDonalds fries are nothing but preservatives and chemicals. You should watch the movie "Supersize Me."

i would like to think that for the most part domesticated animals instinctively know which foods they can eat so I would say try a little piece of french fry but I dont know if I would give the hamster a whole fry.

No, are you crazy! My friend did it once, and hers died. The vet said it was because it had a heart attack?
