Personality is everything to me. I wouldn't want a heartless, selfish, cold boyfriend.
And it would also be a nice if he had a brain, so I could talk to him about current issues, and I could get to know his well. It would be fun to have a debate partner. =)
Looks don't really matter. I don't care what he looks like all that much. As long as he treats others with respect, I'm okay.
Wealth also doesn't matter. I mean, I don't care if he doesn't have a lot of spending money. As long as he is able to support himself by having a job.
Social life isn't that important, either. But I would like his to have friends, because everybody needs friends. People who don't have friends most likely have serious mental problems that need to be treated.

It's difficult to pick one thing. For me, I like someone who is intelligent, with a good personality, sense of humor and who has interests similar to mine. He should be pleasant looking and definitely not overweight. I'm over 50 years old, but I've felt this way since I was 20.

To be honest I am not going to speak to someone that I am not physically attracted to. BUT say if there is a gorgeous guy sitting in the corner by himself at a gathering, and a guy that's not so hott and life of the party cracking jokes, I would much rather get to know him than the gorgeous guy! So a combination! And I really would rather the person be at MOST 10 years older than me NO younger! This was a fun question THANKS!! And God Bless!

I'm 24...order of importance for me: personality, intelligence, social life, appearance, wealth. I've got others too...but that's my order of importance for the characteristics you listed.

The strongest feature that I'm attracted to is there personality. I have been married for 35 years to the same woman and her personality has never changed. She is still the most loving and caring person I have ever known.
