Meteorite fragments have been found all over the surface of the Earth, although most have been found in Antarctica. In Antarctica they are easily seen on the snow covered surface or embedded in ice.

In Antarctica, they are very easy to see, and find in tact. But if you are look a little more local I would say the flats of salt lake or death valley, they are flat, no man made light, and easy to see impact locations, small as they might be.
