I am not making jokes about his execution. He deserves to be executed but it is not funny. I hope things settle down over there when it's over.

The execution of one man won't end the idea of war. If the execution of Saddam would end war for all eternity then he deserves to be a saint, but that's not gonna happen.

War will always happen, we will never have peace.

Hundreds of years after the Iraq war, greedy men like George W. Bush will invent other, newer reasons to invade nations that did no harm to them. And he's going to have blind supporters (just like Bush supporters today) who'd give their lives for him.

So, no, it won't end this war and it certainly won't end the idea of war for good.

Regrettably, it won't be the end of the war. I think there is a strong possibility that it could add heat and fury to the conflict already going on between Iraqi factions. If I were a betting person, I'd predict a meltdown, perhaps small and perhaps major, in Baghdad. And if some related violent event should happen in D.C. this weekend, I would not be surprised.

Shiites will celebrate, Sunnis will fight. sadly Sadam's death won't be the end of the war but another twist, another bad movement in the carnage and blood shed in Irak. More innocent people will die for sure and the genocide between factions will escalate to more violence and destruction. But that's the idea, put the bad seed among them, they will kill each other and then we probably will pay 0.10 less for the gallon of gas.

Neither. The same war between Islalamofascism & civilization that has been going on since 1979 will continue.

It will be the end of one evil man, but what about the others who have caused this illegal war in Iraq. G W Bush and Tony Blair. They both should be hanged too.

Do not think anything will change as far as war. I think some things will just get worse.
