Any of you ladies ever have this surgery? It seems it will be inevitable for me since they have been monitoring my fibroids via ultrasound and they keep getting larger. I'm just wondering how long it took to recover from this type of surgery.

What happened with me was that I was offered laparascopic surgery many years ago (12), and I didn't want to have it then, tried many therapies...ultimately they just got too large for the lap. route, so now I am 48 and looking at a hysterectomy....I don't mean to scare you, but I now wish I would've had it done way back when...good luck to you whatever you choose, and I wish you all the best.
