Mop it with bleach water. Be careful not to ruin the carpet though. Bleach is about the only thing that will actually kill the mold. If you dont kill it, it will come back. Good Luck!

Try renting a steam cleaning vacuum, like at Safeway or something and use a special rug stain remover you can pick up at a local store. Make sure to go over the stain a couple times and let it pre-wash with some club soda. There are heavy/strong stain removers you can purchase too.

Well first of all, you need to scrub it and try to chip mold off. Then get some comet toilet cleaner and powder it on. Spray over with soap and water. Let it sit for a while and then get the scrubber and scrub it off. The best of Luck!!!

Use alcohol and warm water and scrub and then blot, scrub and blot. Use fresh paper towel each time you blot. I don't think after this amount of time you will be able to lift the stain though. Clorox makes a color safe liquid bleach that I once used to remove black magic marker and it made it disappear, you could try that!

Add two ounce of bleach to a 12 oz. bottle of Totally Awesome. Scour until clean. Monitor for regrowth.

Leave uncovered. Sunlight and dry air ensure moss/fungus does not regrow.

You can buy mold remover at the grocery store, or K-Mart, Wal-Mart...any store that sells grocery items. The one I like best is "X14". This one works really well. Good luck with this!
