Right now the most successful system from Nintendo has been the N64 because everyone wanted one and it had great games and not too bad of graphics. It was just all around good for everyone and i still enjoy playing games on it. I even prefer it over the xbox 360 because xbox360 sucks big time, Choose Wii!

Are you kidding me... The original Nintendo, They dominated the video game market, for years destroying their competition.
lets compare.
Nintendo- destroyed the atari, and started taking huge bites outta the arcade industry.
SNES vs Genesis, Genesis took over the industry, and made huge profits until they dwindled their money on the sega CD, Saturn, and the Dreamcast.
playstation vs N64, Playstation took over the market, the 64 had a top game in bond 007, but it was lights out once twisted Metal and Final Fantasy 7 took over.
PS2 vs XBOX vs Gamecube - Another Sony Win, Gamecube had Xbox for ahwile until Halo took online gameing and took many gamecube players that hadnt gone to the playstaion yet.
PS3 vs 360 vs Wii, Wii controllers are breaking and launching themselves into peoples televisions, 360 has a huge head start and is still destroying their competition on the online aspect. (Have not heard much from the PS3 yet so I won't comment on them.)
*Edit*
I was thinking more about consoles, Gameboy has owned handheld systems for years since the days on the original Nintendo all the way up to the gameboy advanced
I dont know much about the psp or the DS, but most people I know own the psp though I will not back up an argument based upon that.
So I guess as far as most successful I will choose the *GAMEBOY*

i would say the snes because they have the biggest library in games so far, the second best was the N64 because it was pretty much one of the first 3D systems to come out

#1, but 64 was big too because there wasnt much competition. You may not be old enough to remember #1. NO COMPETITION except Sega which still was NO COMPETITION.
