I'm having a 25th birthday party/house warming party. i'm looking for a theme, something origional. my name starts with G but not essential the party is to do with that. any ideas would be great. fancy dress would be cool.

Making it formal: Black and White Formal wear?
Or a movie themed: your favorite movie, everyone dress up

If you want 'G' to be the theme then the fancy dress has to relate to 'G' somehow - then the brilliant ideas have to come from your Guests!
25 is also a 'silver' anniversary - so keep to that colour for decoration, balloons etc - you could even demand silver clothing!
Remind everyone that silver makes a great gift!
If you feel fancy dress is short notice or asking too much - best throw-together party I ever went to was James Bond Party - kinda up to date after the latest release - where men had to wear tux and girls had to be as sexy as hell! Was put together in 2 days!

it all depends on your interests if you like to live very fancy you could have a elegant dress party with classical music and horderbs ( i dont know how to spell but its like those little snacks they hand out on trays) with fancy wines

Well I think a nice colour theme, something like blue and silver is nice... you know like starry and moony kinda colours. or...let me think...fancy dress sounds like fun. How about...hmm... do that theme and make it like a really dressy thing...if you like that idea of course.

Everyone could come as something starting with G, so you'd have no idea what people would arrive in, eg. ghost, ghoul, girl, gnasher, gremlin, greek god etc.
