okay...i have manic depression.. its getting reallly bad. it all started of by my boyfriend leaving me...till then on things got worse...well im not gonna get into detail bout that. but i dont know what else to do...yes i have been to the doctor and been on 2 diffrent kind of anti-depressents. but i dont like taking them and they seem to make things worse. but ive done everything ! to try and make it go away..ive even quit school cause it gottin so bad ! its been 5 months nd it hasnt gone away. i was thinkin mabey a therpist...but even if i did go i doubt ill fully recover. i dont know what else to do...i tried everything.!! its getting bad...please help :(

hellow i am raj 23 male frm kolkata . i would like to help u out from ur depression. as u said it started after ur b.friend left u this always happen after that sort of incident happens in life i have also suffered frm that kind of situation. people always say that to find another b.friend is a solution but it makes situation worse. b.coz every time u meet ur new b. friend u will rem the old one . so pls try t9o avoid a new b.friend until u forget him compleately and try to make goal for ur life and make ur best effort to achive that . comin out of ur depression is your own hands.. u can visit as many doctors , but u have to try out to get out of it...
have self confidence in urself.. and dont think abt ur past life.. wats gone is gone... and everything that happen is the best...
may be u dreserve someone who is really best..
go to school or some classes so that u can divite ur mind.. try yogas so u can have a relax mind.
concentrate in other things in which u are really interstered, work hard to get a colorful life.. this is not the part of life.. you have many things ahead to success and achieve...
try to be a wonderful daughter help ur parents... never think abt ur past think abt ur brightest future...

first of all get busy in ur most likly things viz. reading going on trekks etc. 2nd just forget about him, & 3rd thing `s that there r many peoples face depression but god alwayz help those who stand against all odds , depressions. also try Yoga it `ll really help u. now u r not going 2 school ,right? start going back there make new friends .if this can`t help u u can mail me atprithvi2005_c@yahoo.co.in
by take care & please dont think about depression it `s that fire which burn u as well as ur surrounding.

A family member of mine suffers from depression.She quit school and now really regrets it as she has lost nearly all her friends because of it.I suggest you stay in school or at least keep in touch with your friends

try to have more self confidence that should really help. Do the things you love to do ex. shopping, go to starbucks go eat @ the fanciest restaurant...and the most inportant part...DON"T think about the situation..!You should also try going to the movies with your best bud...
