Ok, I have an Ipod nano, 2g, not the mini nano. It turned on disc mode, so I thought to plug it into my computar. The screen looks very old fashion. Now it keeps displaying do not disconnnect! But on Itunes it says it is ready to disconnect. Please help! Also I want to know how I turned it on and what can I do for preventing it from happening again?

(I am not very good with my computar)

just unplug it. and if the screen freezes put the hold switch to on then off and hold the menu and center buttons. this will reset your ipod. but you will still have all your music.

It is okay if the ipod keeps saying do not disconnect, just hit the eject button on the ipod in itunes and it will stop saying that on the ipod and will be disconnected from your computer safely. You probably accidentially turned it on because all you have to do is press a button on the ipod and it turns on. To stop this swith the HOLD button to the other side, where you should see an orange ligt appear. this button is usually at the top of bottom, In order for you to cut the ipod back on you have to switch the hold button the the other side where the light isn't showing, then press the center or any other button.

Mine does that too. don't disconnect it when theres a little twilrly thing on the upper left side of the screen. otherwise, Its ok. to not have it turn on theres a little slidy thingy on the top that says hold next to it, slide that to the right and it won't turn on till its slide to the left. also theres a manual, you should read it!
