i just wanna know why my questions are getting deleted. all i asked was 'if you delete this question can i give you a hug for being so nice?' Y/A sent me a violation notice sayng that it is not a question. do you think that it is a question?

Last I looked there were 130,741 open questions so I would imagine you could ask A question without it being deleted. Whether or not it is THIS question I don't know. And to answer your other question Yes, and No, it was a question by the dictionary definition but not be THEIR definition (Sorry --- guess which one matters!)

I got the same thing too! GAWD it's so aggravating. I asked something about Saddam. Nothing bad....just opinions. They deleted it.
The yahoo police is out in full force tonight. Bleh.

It didn't fit the criteria set forth in the Community Guidelines. So just change the wording around until it does fit them.

You cannot pick on answers in any way. You cannot ask questions about questions, avatars, categories, et cetera. They would be fun questions, but the yahoo answers team ain't havin it.

If you ended the question with a question mark and asked it in proper grammer, which it appears you did..
Then it was in fact a QUESTION
