me and my friend have an interesting connection.
we seem to have similiar interests..yet our chemical connection is weird.
you know how it is with some people that you can just relate really easily from the get go and start joking and everything really easy?
well, with this guy, it seems the more we share traits, the closer we become only.
but it seems from my standpoint, I can turn that chemical connection on and off.
like it's there, but it seems very hidden most of the time until I let it be discovered.
I am kinda hesitant to become friends with him because it kinda seems that I am really myself, we won't get along as well.
so I tried really being myself, and we seem to have more unique qualities..more truer qualaties that we can relate to.
like the kind of things that are very unique and only found in some people.
he might leave soon..maybe thats it..but why is that connection so easily able to turn off when others its undenaible?
any help would be great.

the great thing about this guy, is he is pretty much up for anything.
the bad thing is he usted to do so any bad things(driinking, drugs, etc) but all with a strong wil behind it,so he did control it not it control him,but now hes reformed..so i could drink around him, but its like it wouldn't be as fun...im not interested in boozing it up all the time..and he said not to censor myself around him..but him being refomed..eh..you know?

you can have a solid friendship and not be twins. Does he not like your "true self"? YOu have a friend with whom you can be sillly. that's cool so long as you know the extent of the friendship. So you wont go bowling or knitting or watch art films together, but you can people watch or go drinking together. You can have film buddies, drinking buddies, movie buddies, music buddies, shopping buddies, dancing buddies. They can be multi purpose people or different people. The friends who can do more than one thing become closer to your best friend. Even a close friend may only be someone with whom you share secrets, but don't really hang out with. does that make them not your friend if you seldom see them?

Hi A, It sounds like you 2 have a lot of things in common. To have such a close relationship, and not knowing each other very long,is very rare. I would say, try and see if everything works out for both of you. You may have found a life long friend. It's worth trying, a true friend is hard to come by.

I think it sounds just fine and you have a good friendship. I don't know exactly how you mean you can just turn it on and off. If you're saying you don't think about him constantly, then that's probably a good thing. Sometimes it's hard to find someone to connect with, so just enjoy! :)

I think you should be friends with him. If things don't work out, you at least tried, right?
