HI, this is what happends, you 9/10 get a new phone, tis mainley depends on your price-plan and your annual spend. Your given a band rating, i.e youl beable to go for certain phones, or have a choice of any if your on a regugler-high tariff.....

You get a new phone, they don't take the old one off you. However, you only get one sim card, so you will only be able to use one. Mind you, I use my old one as a video camera now!
An upgrade doesn't necessarily mean the same brand of phone - but you will stay with the same network provider.
They will probably offer you a choice of 3 or so models.

u get a new fone as well as keeping the old one so u could buy a sim card for the old one and sell it to sum1 an make a bit of money.

you get new a phone and keep your old one, you should have a choice of handsets any brand, if they don't offer you the one you want for free don't upgrade cancel your contract and get down the shops, you'll get a better deal with a new contract.

when you upgrade your fone you recieve a newfone of your choice(you gotta pay more if its a fance one)and you also get to keepyour old fone cause you paid for it also when you upgrade you have to resign for normally 2 more yrs of service.
