My fiance and I are ttc. my period was supposed to start on the 24th but so far nothing. I ovulated on the 10th and we had unprotected sex on the 9th. I have noticed that my nipples are darker than normal and the skin around them has little bumps on them. I have been more tired than normal as well. I took an HPT last night and this morning and both were negative. what could be going on?

sometimes it takes longer for some women's pregnancy hormones to show up in a test. go to the health department or your dr. and get a urine or blood test. that might be your best bet, or you can wait and test again in the morning before you go to the bathroom.

Well...It could be that there is not enought hormones to show on the test....And it could be a Postive negative test where you feel and act like you are but really you aren't the signs are just there and there may be a sack inside growing but nothing in the sack.. So you should go to the doctor and see whether or not you are!.. Best Wishes to you!

dont stress, my second child, i done 11 hpt and they were a very very faint positive but when i went to the doctors, nothing. i left it for a week and went back to my doc and he did another test and held on to it for 3 hours and sure enough a faint positive came up. wait another week and go see your gp. i am pregnant with my 3rd now and went for an ultrasound 5 weeks ago and there was nothing. i went to my gp had a test done and still nothing but the hpt's were positive. went for another ultrasound last week and i am 9 weeks so dont get to down about it yet. i suggest a blood test. good luck, i hope it all goes well.

Go see a doctor and have them perform a pregnancy test. Sometimes those over the counter ones are not accurate.

Even if you were pregnant, your nipples would not change color yet and the montgomery glands would be no more pronounced. You were likely cold or had hard nipples when you examined yourself which reduces the size of the aerola and the montgomery glands protrude.

I would wait a little longer, but it doesn't sound like you are pg. Good luck and have fun trying.
