Putting them in different rooms isn't going to solve things. What happens if there is a time where the dog and cat have to stay in a room for a long period of time?

I'd suggest if the cat attacks him, to spray the cat w/ water. Eventually, the cat will learn that if he attacks the dog, that he will get sprayed w/ water.

Put the cat in a separate room and close the door. Dog more than likely does the same thing to the cat.

Keep the cat in a different room. Have a special place for the dog to sleep, the cat can't get into.

You might want to spray your cat with a water bottle when you see him do this. I have lightly sprayed mine in the face when they have done something I didn't want them to do. They get the message after a few times.

Get a spray bottle and spray the kitty when he attacks your doggie. Most of the time it works and it doesn't hurt the kitty.

You'd think your dog would put a stop to it if he was of a mind to.
