do A LOT of stretchings first to loosen your muscles.. then try and try doing a cartwheel.. until, you've done it perfectly..

First off, I would definitely recommend stretching first. Torn muscles are no fun at all.

Second I would say work on Hand stands for a while. Just to get used to the idea of supporting your wait on your arms and the oddity of inverting yourself.

After that, Trial and error.

I suggest stepping forward at an angle with your dominant side. Put you dominant side hand on the ground and toss you legs up into a handstand, sideways. inertia will do the rest.

Make sure that you are on a soft mat, and then have someone there to spot you - they'll hold your legs - do a side cartwheel first on the side with your writing hand. Pur your hands to the ground, rotate your hips until your legs come up, and have that person grab your legs and put them on the otherside. Be very, very careful! Make sure that you have enough arm strength because if you don't you could seriously hurt yourself.
