Your breasts can be sore for many reason....maybe your bra is too tight, it is common to have sore breasts around the beginning of a girl's period, or menstruation. A week or so before her period starts, the body begins producing lots of the female hormones estrogen and progesterone. Also One of the early signs of pregnancy is extremely sensitive, sore breasts. Water retention is often associated with breast tenderness.

You could be pregnant...sometimes having sore breasts are the first symptom and if you are attuned to your body you can notice this before you miss your period.....however, this is also a symptom of PMS. When you are trying to concieve, it makes things very frustrating when PMS symptoms are similar to early pregnancy onces. Best of luck to you.

the hormones you are taking to help concieve are probably making your nipples more sensitive. my gyn told me that when your breast are tender it helps to take two vitamin e caplets a day until the tenderness subsides.
