Very good movie. I would recommend watching "United 93" in conjunction with this one. Flight focuses mostly on the people on the actual flight while United focuses mostly on the ATCs as well the military one. I was impressed with Flight in that the film makers made it as realistic as possible. Obviously, there had to be some speculation as to what happened since no one knows exactly what transpired on the plane from when it took off to the time it crashed. Most people will understand this and will not be put off by it. Even though I did not like it very well, I would wonder if the same people thought "The Perfect Storm" was a good movie. That movie could be considered in the same way since we DO NOT have any inkling as to what actually happened on the boat after it sailed yet the film makers speculated on the scenes.
In conclusion, I would definitely recommend watching both movies. I would also recommend (for those who don't hate and have an open mind) watching DC 9/11: A Time of Crisis. This movie shows the reaction of President Bush to the attacks. It is a very well made movie and gave me a lot of insight as to what kind of man President Bush is.

I do not agree that it is too soon, but I respect a contrary opinion. I thought that this film depicted ordinary people dealing with an extraordinary situation with courage and, although you knew what the ending was, the film makers managed to keep an air of suspense about it. I would hope that I would have the courage to deal with a similar situation the way the people on this flight did. They are real heroes.

I can't bring myself to watch it. It's definitely too soon and I find it tacky, regardless of it's emotional depth or whatever, to make money off a tragedy that many of us are still grieving over. I'm also concerned about how accurate it is. There is speculation that the reason the plane crashed was because our own people shot it down. That may not be true...but the fact that rumors like that are still around only confirms how little we really know about what actually happened.

I saw the movie & I was thinking that How did they know what happened on that plane? Just from the one guy who was talking to his wife?? Everyone on that plane died, unfortunately. Nobody knows, or will know, for certain what exactly took place during that time period. Very, very sad. It wasn't realistic. (my view only, though)
