* Practice deep breathing exercises when you have a craving.
* To minimize some of the real low blood sugar effects of the first few days it really can help to keep drinking juice throughout the day.
* Remember that a craving can last up to 3 minutes, but no longer than that. Just make it through those 3 minutes.
* Withdrawal’s peak occurs at the 72-hour mark. The average "starter" will experience approximately six desire attacks or crave episodes on day three. By hour 96 or day four the number of attacks or episodes will diminish to about 3.5. By day ten the average number of daily craves is less than two.

Identify your triggers. mine were: behind the steering wheel, on the phone & when I had coffee. Place health snax in those areas. Also, drink a lot of distilled water now. this will pull nicotene out of your system quicker.
Lastly, buy at health food store an herb called "Lobelia". It not only trix the body into thinking it got nicotene when it didn't, but it helps calm your nerves down while kicking.
One more thing...if this fails, try Nicoderm CQ. I used it to quit back in the late 80's & have never picked up another cigarette.
