No need for ER visits or doctors if you've just had it done. Its perfecty normal for it to swell and be red. Make sure you keep it clean and the swelling and redness should disappear over the next couple of days.

Any piercing hurts and shows signs of trauma after it's done. It's supposed to be red and swollen and if you got it done by a professional then they should really have told you what to expect. If however it was done by your friend or yourself I'd keep a close eye on it over the next few days, if the swelling doesnt go down or any pus appears THEN go to your doc.

Karma.

Ya its normal. I've had my nose pierced twice and every time it swells up a little bit and its red around the piercing. Its normal and should go away in a couple of days.

No, i think you should take off the earring on your nose and then cleanse it and go to the doctor.
