When I was 5 I ignored the fact that I had to pee and I ended up wetting the bed. So yeah, I guess you could say the problem did go away.

Well, the first situation like this that came to my mind: When I am in bed trying to get to sleep, and I just get all situated and then my toe (or some other body part) and so it is like stinging kinda sorta ya know since I am not scratching it. So I decide "okay I am already comfy so I will just try and ignore it" and it is really hard for me to do (practicing self control there) and finally after a while the itch goes away.
That is prolly one of the most simple examples I can think of.

I ignored my stalker ex- boyfriend and he after a whole year finally went away! Thank the lord!
