It won't turn on.. see.... i accidentally put 2 dvd's in at once and it said there was an error. then it shut off. now it won't turn on again. am i doomed?

See if you can pull the disk tray out manually. If not, you may have to get a screwdriver and open up the DVD player in order to remove both disks.

You might want to unscrew the top chassis of your DVD/VCR and see if you can manually grab out the DVD's that are stuck. Then without putting the chassis back on, plug in the player and see if it turns on. If it works, then screw back your chassis. If it doesn't work, then you just might have to get a new DVD/VCR player.

There should be a couple screws on your player. Just unscrew them all, take the top off and remove the dvds.
