I like to draw manga, and I know the three colours you can use are black, white, and some shades of gray. What I want to know is which colours fall under which category. I know black, dark blue, and dark purple goes under black ink. Can anyone tell me or give a site with this information?

When colour is reproduced in black and white, reds appear black and light blues disappear completely. Other than that, your grays will depend on the value (deepness of shade) more than the colour. Take a colour drawing and photocopy it in black & white and you'll see what I mean.

Apart from that, Manga can be created with any colour combination at all. Digital reproduction can reproduce all colours, and markers made specially for Manga art (like Copic) come in over 300 colours. Check out their site -
