Im looking to install some new pickups on my guitar, i want a pickups that is good to play heavy metal. Any suggestions?

I recommend that you check out Carvin.com . My son has bought a guitar from there.......it rocks......big time. Check it out.

di marzio super D`s, most duncan pickups, lawrence pickups. Don`t laugh but one of my best metal axes is my 1985 jap squier strat, sounds good stock for metal or classic rock. Invest in a tech 21 sansamp gt2, the pedal will work any amp good. gibson 500t pickups also work good for metal. been playin for 30 years.

Just curious, what kind of pickups are you currently using right now? they may be enough.

active(9 volt): EMG-81 and SA
regular: Screamin deamon, Fred, full shred.
PS: your pre amp will probably make the biggest difference in your sound.
