Well, I can tell you that "bitchy" was probably the wrong thing to try. ;) It's not sad at all that you're single. You're still young. Don't be down on yourself. The more you get down on yourself, the more negative you'll seem, and the harder it will be for people to find you attractive. But that being said, you need to concentrate on things you have control over. Being attractive doesn't mean you put on some kind of act: it means that you create an attractive personality and an attractive appearance. Both of those things are completely under your control. From a personality perspective, you need to take a hard, critical look at yourself. Could you be more cheerful? More positive? More supportive? More enthusiastic? More outgoing? Less angry? Less bitter? Less judgmental? Everyone has something in their personality that they can improve, and you need to figure out what that is for you. From an appearance perspective: again, there are things that are within your control, like how you dress, how you wear your hair, and how you wear your makeup. Of course I have no idea what you look like, but the important thing is that you take the time and effort to choose clothes and styles that are flattering. This means, clothes that fit your body type, hair that fits the shape of your head, and makeup that highlights your best features. And really, that's it... you can't force boys to like you, but you CAN improve yourself to be as attractive as possible. And if you do that, everyone (boys, girls, teachers, kids, dogs, cats) will like you more, your confidence will grow... and eventually, some guy will truly believe that you're the most wonderful person he's ever met. Best of luck!

Leave her alone. The newness will soon wear off. And remember this when the big game is playing.
It would help if you said how old you are and if the two of you are married. That may change the way people answer.

They call it a laptop for a reason. Put it in your lap. Then let your imagination run wild. Then if that doesn't work, start kissing on her and playing with her. Sooner or later she'll get turned on enough to leave the computer alone.

I'd try approaching it as a compromise issue...tell her this is really important to you, and ask if she could give you a certain amount of her time in exchange for something she wants from you.
