When I digitized my music collection, I only gave each file a track name. Now when I play them, the artist name and other info doesn't display. Is there a way I can rename my files WITHOUT having to reburn from cd?

If you downloaded your music off of your cds it may be faster to re-install the cds than typing in all the info, otherwise, highlight the song you want to edit and select get info, then type the info you want

It can provide some greater effective renaming capabilites, batch renaming etc. working example in case you pick diverse records, you are able to rename all artist tags at as quickly as, that's an surprising help renaming artist and album tags. For greater progressed renaming, use a gadget like Tag&Rename by utilising Softpointer. This software is super for encoding and deciphering of filenames <> identity tags. as an occasion you are able to take all filenames of comparable variety and placed into tags. like... in case you have all your mp3 filenames formatted like Brittney Spears - toddler one greater time - Hit me as quickly as lower back.mp3 etc. Tag&rename can do a development conversion like %artist - %call - %album and save it into the records tag.
