I think the jury is still out so I will be cautious... the problem with cloning is that the DNA is inferior - cloned animals will not live as long or be as whole because their DNA is not as completely formed once they have their own life. So... it is not known what the effetcs are to those who consume them - probably ok but it scares me a little so I think I will wait to see how it plays out.

I do not think it makes any difference, cloned or not. Meat is meat, after all clones are born the same way as every other animal or person for that matter. So to all the nervous Nellies I say, if you don`t want it don`t eat it. And the so superior vegetarians, have you heard about bad spinach and the problems Taco-Bell has been having recently. No matter what you eat, if you are unlucky you will catch something sooner or later.

Make mine into a Double Western Bacon Cheeseburger, please.
You should be more concerned with your overbred cattle. Cattle have been bred for generations to put on weight quickly. It's becoming more and more obvious that the meat from these can cause people to put on weight quickly too.

I felt the same way I did when eating irradiated tv dinners. The word "radiation" made me feel a little uncomfortable.
But with cloning, I don't really have a clue as to what side effects, if any, there would be.
So I guess my feeling is to let someone else try it first;)

No way, was my first reaction.
Luckily, my family has a ranch and gets all of thier own meat from the ranch, so I will be making regular trips out there to stock the freezer.
For some reason the thought of it makes me ill.

It makes me sick, but the worst part of it is they might not tell which is cloned & which is natural & what about the side effects?!
I'm soo glad I'm a vegetarian.

I didn't realize that was a reality.
However, becoming a vegetarian and buying your produce at the supermarket would be no better. The produce, and all products made with vegetables are genetically modified.

Since I myself am a clone, it doesn't bother me a bit. Although you guys don't really taste that bad.

whats the difference. If you eat meat you are taking chances anyway (ecoli in lettuce and spinach aside).
they should clone my meat, then I could have a spare rod.
