Well I would say no, its really just part of being a girl some have it worse than others, for be before I started having sex I was crazy and at times I was on it for 28 days at a time and a nightmare for all around me, sex didn’t change it one way or the other. It was just growing up and learning how to deal with it. I would say 1 you’re too young to deal with the emotional part of sex (coming from someone who knows) and 2 get on the pill or the ring, which will help BIG TIME.

I would think it is messed up because your only 14. It can take some time before you have a regular period. Stress, hanging out alot with a girl friend(sometimes will change it). Of course 14 is too young to be having sex. If your period use to be regular and now it isn't you may want to see your OBGYN just to be safe. If you are having sex you need to go anyways to insure your health and learn the proper ways to protect yourself from STD's. Good Luck and Be SAFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

your irregular periods are normal at this time. your body is still changing and hormone levels will change. after a few years it should stablelize. sex can affect your period a little depending on what phase of your cycle you are in. but 14 is a little young to take on the serious responsibilities of sex. you need to think about birth control and protecting yourself from diseases,. dont be in such a hurry.

You should tell her if she has concerns about you having sex you are happy to talk to her about it. That is a fact I have never heard before I don't think it's true. Either way you should be on birth control if you are having sex and that includes the pill AND a condom.

well, it's none of my business to tell you how to run your life, but I'd say that since you're fourteen, you should concentrate on school first rather than sex...since sex is a serious thing that can lead to STD, pregnancy and a whole host of other concerns for you. Plus, being 14, your menstral cycle is still pretty irregular as I assume you just started it.

Why are you having sex at 14 anyway? Are you responsible enough to have a baby. Are you ready to have a disease for the rest of your life. Stop having sex and grow up please.
