Absolutely not. Bad dreams or nightmares are not an indication of "going insane." It's possible that these are issues that have not been resolved in your life, or you still subconsciously miss these people a very great deal.
I sometimes have dreams about an ex-girlfriend that I never really got over. They're usually about the good times, or meeting again and reconciling, but waking up from those hopeful things is terrible, because they're not true and could never be.
You may want to talk about the things you're dreaming about with someone else who is familiar with them; perhaps another family member, or a friend who was with you when they were happening. Talking them over and getting through the deep, hidden feelings can help your subconscious stop these dreams. They may not stop forever, but perhaps it will lessen their frequency, and they will be less horrible upon waking.
I hope this helps.

When you speak of deaths of your loved ones and your past, I'm going to take the liberty of guessing something terrible has happened to them in years gone by. If I'm wrong, I apologize. However, you show many of the symptoms I do. Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome. Many people overlook it but it is a very serious disability. Talk to someone about this before it takes over your life. It easily can.

You have post-traumatic stress disorder. Events from the past will remain fixate in your subconscious amd brought out by stressful life events or situations that provoke feeling from the original trauma. You need to deal with it or else every aspect of your life will suffer. I too re-experience events from the past in the form of nightmares, anxiety and phobia. You will suffer until you get it out of you and come to some sort of compromise with the past and your loss.

I'm sorry to hear that, nightmares are terrible and I'm sad to hear you are haunted with them.
I'll bet if you start praying before you go to bed, then every time you are awakened by them pray again, I bet they will go away.
One time that happened to me and I prayed just like I told you and lone behold the nightmares went away. Give it a shot and see what happens.
Good Luck, God Bless and have a safe and
HAPPY NEW YEAR !

I don't think this is unusual, even though you have had some bad times worse than others...but they can "haunt you" during periods of stress. You might consider a night of "tylenol PM" or something light like that to help you get a solid night's sleep....just for more rest....one night....if it keeps up...you know the drill: see a counselor.

No, you just have some issues you haven't resolved yet. Dreams help you do that. I've been having a lot of strange dreams lately, & I put a pad & paper by the bed so that I can record them & remember them in the AM.

Our dream explain much to us and helps us to deal with issues. I don't think you are going insane. Try to meditate or pray before bedtime each night and think only good thoughts.
