its important to have a loving and supporting family that you spend time with. but if you are married to your job then chances are your marriage won't last forever. consuming careers are better for those who are single, then you can spend all your time with your job. but you have a family with children that need you guidence. a father figure is needed in the household. i'm sure you can find another job that doesn't take you away from your marriage and children. good luck.

My ex was like that. After 10 years of pure torture, the marriage finally collapsed for the good.

sounds like you're burning both sides of the candle. is it at least a career that is worth your time away from your partner kids? ask yourself this...on your death bed what would you have wished you'd done more? career? love?
