I really approve of the veil and robe type garment. I think it allows you to better see a person for who they are. All muslim laws aside. It allows you to love for the person and not for physical attributes.

the islamic religion order every woman to wear this veil to hide her hair from any man and no one can see her hair except her husband or father or brother and grandfather and uncle and any other women can see her. this is the type of the veil on her hair and the other type is on her face to hide her face no one in the street to see her face except the same people but if any one is pruposing to her she must unhide her face to him and the islam tought the girls and women that to keep their dignity but the second type is optional

I think if they're doing it for THEM and no one else, go for it. If they do it for society, husbands and men, THEN, and only then I see it as oppressive. Of course, they might not have a choice, so I'm not saying they should stop. However, I applaud those who dress how they want, without regards to what others think.
