Hello. I love this song! My favourite out of the whole album~!! ^_____^
The video for Lying is the most fun a girl can have without taking her clothes off is about teenage romances and adultery.
In the clip there is a girl walking through a street where everyone has fish tanks on their heads. The fishes are believed to represent how many people the person has had sex with. The fish she picks up off the ground seems to represent a guy she cheated with.
The man on the floor is her husband who killed himself when he found out she cheated on him. Relizing her mistake, she ends up killing herself too because she relizes that there is no pleasure in being unfaithful and because she knows that there is no one else she'd rather be with.
Because they are now both dead the paramedics come (which are played by the band) and take them to the ocean which is sort of like a "heaven". At the end they are both reunited with each other.

I am so happy, it was only a 35 minute drive ( 70 minutes total) but absolutely no sign of anxiety or panic i shopped till I dropped - brilliant! I will now go for the next stage DUAL CARRIAGE way, probably at the weekend, with my husband accompanying me first then the solo drive, if successful the final stage of driving on motorway

It's open to interpretation. They don't say, and everyone I know has a different opinion on it. It's a good video if you think you know what it's about, but people who don't think about it seem to hate it. If you ask me, it's about breaking monotony- the video kind of goes with the story in the song, with the added bonus of having something about life repeating itself.

i watch that video many times and i still don't get it with the fish bowl!! but i think that girl in the green dress saw her boyfriend or anybody else die and she have always thoughted that they could get married together and get old so she die along and they live happyly ever after under the sea. I guess they needed water to survive. (with the fishbowl and stuff) One day if i ever see them i'll ask!! Still luv that song!!!
