I live in the eastern U.S.A. and i might consider moveing father west to a quieter place where it is not unbarable cold. If i was not single i think i would enjoy that. Who knows where if might go if i could explore. I do like my home state.-N.C.

I did leave my home state for over 40 years and then I returned and am living here now. I left Arkansas and moved to California and moved back much later. California was a very nice place in the 60' but not any more. I love it here where I started from. California was very good to me but the millions of people there, and I was one of them, ruined it.

I live in western New York, and I would totally leave if I got the chance. The taxes are too high and it's a dying area. I've visited Virginia a few times, and that's definitely where I would want to live.

YES! south carolina. because sc is a bummer for me. feel the same way about every state i have lived in or visited. where would i go? i would like live in england in that area where they film "last of the summer wine." things look civilized there. not this clashing cultures and out-of-control corporate power influencing the government. corporations who are only loyal to their bottomline and, consequently, their stockholders. lost all my stock. blew it. so to hell with that system. brits have a better government. compare the articulate, wise and succesful pm blair with what we have.

New York: I have left before and have come back to a different part. NY is getting ridiculously expensive, even upstate; I may leave again.

I lived in Michigan and moved to Hawaii. Best thing i've ever done!! Everything and everyone is so laid back in Hawaii. There's soo much out there and to stay in one place forever that's just boring!!
